Brick White Washing
It is becoming popular to “whitewash” fireplaces inside homes. This is a process where we mix water with paint and apply to give the brick a textured “white washed” effect. When we do these projects we like the homeowner to be with us pointing out exactly the look that they like as we complete the project. That way when we are finished they are able to have the exact finished product that they wanted.
When we spray the cabinets we start by protecting the floors and surrounding areas and making a “bubble” in the kitchen to keep dust and paint out of other areas of the home. Then we remove all the doors and drawers front so that we can take them to our shop. Then we prep, sand and prime the cabinets that are in place in the kitchen. After the primer we will sand again and then apply the finish coats. The primer is an oil based product so sometimes there will be a significant smell for a day or two of the project. While this is going on we are also doing the same process to the doors and drawer fronts at our shop. When they are finished and have dried thoroughly we deliver them and reinstall. After this we clean up all of our things and check for any final touch ups.
Furniture, Stalls, Gates, Fencing & More
We would usually bring these items to our shop. And then if the customer wants them painted we will sand them down, prime, paint, and then deliver back to their home. We can also refinish as in sanding down the existing stain and then re staining to the same or another color. That would be followed by a polyurethane application. After drying we would deliver back to the customer.
